Supporting Fellowship

Ready for church picnics and meals? Ready for kids programs? We sure are. As we look ahead to September, consider how you will join in supporting the church community.

(We might even feel safe doing this in September!)

1. Goodbye, Isolation! Hello, September!
   Coming out of these shutdowns feels like coming out of hibernation. Kick that groggy feeling by getting into the action. Look over the ministries of our church and jump in. As a volunteer or as a participant, commit to involvement.

2. Financial Support
   It looks like we will fall short of our budget goals for this year by about $10,000. All things considered, that isn’t terrible. But it would be encouraging to start our next ministry year fully supported. Please make a donation before you leave this summer.

3. Year End Business Meeting
   June 20, 7:00 @ the Ministry Centre! (651-7th Ave E)
   Everyone is welcome to attend; members are required. Get a sneak peek of September. The agenda is light, but necessary.

4. Become a member
   If you’ve been a part of the church, but not a member, you may wonder why it’s necessary. Our church would not exist if others did not do this. You can be a part of the team that stewards this church’s mission. Email Pastor Alex to learn more.

Loving Prince Rupert

Our church claims to be “a fellowship that overflows with grace and loves Prince Rupert.” This is a good description of the life of a disciple of Jesus. Here are some ways that we can show God’s love to our community in the coming weeks:

1. Seafest - Seniors Tea -
   Let our seniors know that they are loved. Help the Special Event Society
   • assemble “cheer” boxes Thursday, June 10
   • distribute the boxes Friday, June 11.

2. SEAFEST! Be a part of the party!
   Get outside, order take-out, go for walks, decorate their homes & vehicles, and to go see each other again. Before you go, pray that God will give you many significant conversations. There are five events going on. Get your family and friends into all of them. Get more details here

3. Mass Vaccine Clinic Volunteers - We’ve already seen the tremendous success of the vaccine in our community’s health. We now have the chance to finish this up. Let’s be a part of the team that helps make this happen. Already, several in our church family are joining the team of volunteers. Join in with us.

Vacation Bible School • July 5-9

Get your kids signed up and join the team yourself. Every summer, this is one of our kids greatest memories. Now that restrictions are lifting, let’s take hold of one of those things that we missed the most.
