Church Picnic - June 27, 11:30am

BC is now in “Stage 2” of the Restart Plan. We are permitted personal outdoor gatherings of up to 50 people. The longterm forecast looks good. Let’s plan on it.

We will keep it simple! This is an informal gathering on our ministry centre’s front lawn. Bring your own picnic lunch and blanket. We’ll grab a table for those who can’t sit on the ground. The preschool playground will be open so the kids can play.

We miss you, guys! Let’s take advantage of this together.

Year End Business Meeting - June 20, 7:00pm

Everyone is welcome to attend; members are required. Get a sneak peek of September. The agenda is light, but necessary. If you can’t attend in person, attend via Zoom. Link can be found here:

Become a member
If you’ve been a part of the church, but not a member, you may wonder why it’s necessary. Our church would not exist if others did not do this. You can be a part of the team that stewards this church’s mission. Email Pastor Alex to learn more.

Financial Support

It looks like we will fall short of our budget goals for this year by about $10,000. All things considered, that isn’t terrible. But it would be encouraging to start our next ministry year fully supported. Please make a donation before you leave this summer.

Thanks, Jan Angus!

Jan Angus served as our church’s Administrator for two years. She has been a fantastic part of the ministry team. Her heart for you, her family, overflows into everything she does for the church.

Jan has stepped down from this position and will focus on working alongside her husband Maynard in their new company called Indigenous Canada Solutions (www.ics2020.ca). They will make a strategic impact in our community and region, but it will require all their effort.

Pray for them as they continue to break new ground. May God bless this work and bring prosperity and strength through Maynard and Jan to our First Nations and region.

Vaccination Clinic Volunteers, ASAP

We’ve already seen the tremendous success of the vaccine in our community’s health. We now have the chance to finish this up. Let’s be a part of the team that helps make this happen. Already, several in our church family are joining the team of volunteers. Join in with us.

They urgently need volunteers to help run the clinic. Some spots are needed for tomorrow!

Seafest

Thanks so much to all who volunteered for Seafest and to those who participated in the events.

As your pastor, this meant a lot to me personally. I served on the Prince Rupert Special Events Society as a volunteer. I do this as an expression of God’s mission in my life. God loves Prince Rupert, and he calls us to love our city too.
